handheld fiber connection tool.

Glass fiber data transfer speed is highly impacted bythe quality of the connection between the fiber and the connector. Connectors for fiber applications aremostly performed by trained operators, which still leads to a wide variation in connection quality. Continuous high quality can be achieved with a fully automated, handheld fiber connection tool.

• Smart optics design to image the fiber from 3 sides at once
• Integrated image processing programmedon a DSP
• Integration into handheld device
